ABOUT THE GECC AMBASSADOR PROGRAM...

The Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce is looking for member volunteers to be part of our ambassador program. Here is an opportunity for you to not only help your fellow chamber members, but to also help promote your own business.

The requirements to be part of the ambassador program are simple. You must, of course, be a chamber member. Also, you must be willing to sacrifice some of your time to attend as many chamber sponsored events as you can. These events include, but are not limited to, Network Lunch Hours (1 per month), Commerce and Coffees (1 per month), Business After Hours (1 per quarter), ribbon cuttings and other functions, such as the Small Business Development Workshops.

The reason for the ambassador program is to help promote the Chamber, help to grow the Chamber, and to help facilitate the introduction of new members to the Chamber. The guaranteed presence of members at these functions will help ensure the strength of the Chamber and give new members a comfort level that their Chamber is behind them in their goal to help them grow their businesses.

There are many benefits to the ambassadors as well. You get the exposure as being a Chamber representative. You will also get the opportunity to meet, personally, all the new members in the Chamber before most Chamber members do, thus giving you the opportunity to promote your business to them before anyone else. The benefit you will receive from the exposure is immeasurable.

Lastly, each month, there will be an ambassador of the month, chosen by your peers. This person will a free Network Lunch!
